SECTION 1 - RIGHT OF CANCELLATION
You have the right to cancel an order without giving any reason. Your right to cancel an order starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive it.
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must clearly inform us of your decision to do so prior to the 14 day cancellation period expiring, for example by email to email@example.com. You may use the sample cancellation form, found below, but you do not have to do so.
If your order has been dispatched, and you subsequently wish to return it, you must arrange to send the products back to our warehouse depot at Newcastle Road, Lucan, Co. Dublin, Ireland, K78 CC78, without delay, and in any event within 14 days of you notifying us of your cancellation of the contract. You will bear the cost of returning the products to us. You are advised in advance that due to the weight of the products we sell, the postage costs may be considerable, perhaps £80 for a pallet. It is likely that a specialist courier, as opposed to Royal Mail will be required.
If you cancel the contract as above, return the products, and we receive them in perfect condition, we will reimburse you for all payments received from you in relation to the contract. Ideally the products should be in their original packaging; however, by law you don't have to return them in their original packaging. You do need to make sure they’re packaged in a way that means they don’t get damaged, particularly given the fragile nature and weight of tiles. We strongly encourage you to take a photograph of the items you are dispatching immediately prior to their loading.
We may make a deduction from any reimbursement to you for any loss in value of the products supplied, if the loss is due to any unnecessary handling of the products by you or if something gets damaged because it wasn’t packaged properly. The extent to which you can handle the products is similar as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop.
Note that shades of tiles differ. Before fixing any tiles, ensure you are satisfied with them as any claims once tiles have been fixed will not be valid. Fixing tiles to a surface means you have accepted the tiles in their present state, so no refunds or replacements will be offered. The cancellation right does not apply where any products have become mixed inseparably with other items after their delivery, or where any perishable products, such as grout or adhesive, have been opened.
The refund shall be processed without delay, and in any event within 14 days of us having received the products from you or you having supplied us evidence that you have sent the products back.
SECTION 2 - DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
In the unlikely event that you purchase products from us that are defective, we shall repair or replace the products or refund the price of the products, as long as the damage has not been caused by you. Where you believe you have received defective products, you should notify us as soon as possible after delivery, by contacting us using the phone number or email address provided on our Contact Us Page. We may ask you to return the products to us, and if so, we will provide you with a refund for the reasonable cost of arranging such return. Where defective products are to be replaced, we shall arrange standard delivery at our cost.
